He’s So Tall, His Ears Scrape the Ceiling comes from a childhood Easter tradition, when Dausch would hear noises upstairs the night before. In the morning, her dad would tell her it was the Easter Bunny, whose ears were so tall they scraped the ceiling. The tall, paired candleholders bring that memory to life.

Made from walnut, these 45-inch candleholders feature elongated, sculptural forms and include a custom-turned candle.

Hanna Dausch of Han Studio is a woodworker and furniture maker based in Pittsburgh PA. Working primarily with turned wood, Dausch develops forms that simultaneously functions as furniture and sculptural art with an emphasis on material, scale, and the ways objects settle into a space.
